Q: What is Pixel Ministries?A: Pixel Ministries is an organization for helping other ministries grow by advertising their ministry on our website.
A(2): Since Pixel Ministries was created by 2 web developers /graphics designers, they decided to sow their gifts into other Christian ministries.
Q: What exactly is a pixel?A: The basic unit of the composition of an image on a television screen, computer monitor, or similar display.
Q: What is a ministry.A: A ministry is any person or organization who is doing the works of the Lord.
Q: How many pixels am I allowed to use for my ministry?A: Were are asking for each ministry to reserve a 10 x 10 pixel block. If everyone does this then we can get 10,000 ministries on our homepage.
Q: Why cant I just use 1 pixel for my ministry?A: One pixel is so small that no one would be able to even recognize that there was a ministry present.
Q: How did you come up with the idea?A: There was a guy name Alex Tew who came op with the idea of advertising websites on his homepage for a fee. For a hundred dollars a legitimate business can advertise their banner on a 10 x 10 pixel ad. He filled 1,000 blocks in less than six months. He called it "The Million Dollar Homepage". We decided to borrow this concept for the good of the Lord, thus creating PixelMinistries.com
Q: Since Alex Tew made a million dollars on his website, why not charge for your website?A: Pixel Ministries purpose is not to gain wealth but to help spread the word of GOD. We can easily charge for pixel space, but how would that be percieved by the unbeleivers. We feel that would just give room for the enemy to attack our ministry. None of us at Pixel Ministries are millionaires and if it is in GODs will, we may one day be... However we do not wish to build great treasures on earth, for that will pass away, but we wish to build great wealth in heaven.
Q: Pixel Ministries has help me. How can I help Pixel Ministries.A: There are many ways to help Pixel Ministries and it's works. You can help by:
